The "Miss Auto Pro" Jean Fit Journey

When you're looking for a new pair of jeans, for casual, work or something special, it's always a great feeling to get a pair of jeans that feel and fit great.

Wth so many different styles and cuts it can be a tricky road trip through mountains of choices, traffic jams  and wrong turns.  At Miss Auto Pro we know it is always more interesting to take a road trip with someone else and face those road blocks together.

Let's get on this road trip to discover the perfect pair of jeans for you.

Jean Fit Journey  - Lets Look @ Styles

There are 4 Styles of jeans that we come across when out looking for this elusive perfect pair.  Let's take a look at these.

Skinny Jeans: These are close-fitting jeans that hug your curves. They're perfect for showing off your figure and can be styled with everything from heels to flats.

Boyfriend Jeans: These relaxed-fit jeans are borrowed from the boys. They're great for casual days and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Mom Jeans: These high-waisted, straight-leg jeans are having a moment. They're comfortable, flattering and can be styled to suit any occasion.

Wide Leg Jeans: These flattering jeans are perfect for those who want a little more room to move. They look great with both heels and flats and dressed up or down.

Flare Jeans: jeans that become wider from the knee down, giving a “flared” or “bell bottom” look.  A good "Retro" for those with meaty calves!

Bootcut Jeans: jeans that are slightly flared from the knee down, so they fit well over work boots.

Choosing the Right Jeans for Your Body Type

The same as Road Trips not all jeans are created equal. The key to finding a flattering pair is to choose the right style for your body type.  Get to know your body and how it likes to feel.

Jean Fit Journey for a more pear-shaped figure…

Try skinny or straight-leg jeans. These styles will help balance out your lower half and make your legs look longer. Avoid wide-leg or flare jeans, as these can make your hips and thighs look even wider.

Jean Fit Journey for a more hourglass figure...

Try skinny or straight-leg jeans. These styles will hug your curves and show off your slim waist. Avoid mom jeans, as these can make you look boxy.

Jean Fit Journey for a more apple-shaped figure...

Try mom jeans or wide-leg jeans. These styles will help balance out your upper half and make your waist look smaller. Avoid skinny jeans, as these can accentuate your stomach and make you look larger than you are.

However like on any road trip you are in the drivers seat of this journey and trying alternative routes and speeds and directions is all up to you.  As they say "nothing ventured nothing gained.

Choosing the length of your Jean Fit Journey

When choosing the length of your jeans, always give the what is suggested for your body type first.  Much like a Road Trip you have not been on the GPS and suggestions of others can make the first few goes easier.  Once you are a more confidant adventurer ..... do what makes you happy and feel good about who you are.

Below is a suggested Jean Fit GPS + Styling - by no means do we want you to stick to this at all times.  Go for that adventure without the GPS and bask in the glory of owning it.

For those with  shorter torso, go for a shorter length jean. If you have a longer torso, go for a longer length jean. And if you're in between, go for the length that gives you the most comfortable fit.  So do what makes you happy!

Jean Fit Journey Styling

Now that you have mapped out your Jean Fit Journey, it's time to plan what you might take with you on this road trip to style and accessorise depending on what types of adventures you may be up to having.

-If you have packed skinny jeans, throw in a baggy top or two of any style or fabric along with shoes that will reflect activities you know might be on the cards!  Heels for a night out or flats for a casual yet intimate lunch with a man who is short.

-Now for those of you who threw in the  boyfriend jeans, often a cropped tee and sneakers make for a casual look that can take you anywhere from the ocean to a day time concert in the city.

-Don't be shy if it's the mom jeans that got packed! They look fabulous paired  with a blouse and loafers for a chic office look that will stun your co-workers.

-A lot of us pack a wide-leg or flare jeans, and pair them with a tank top and sandals for a summertime look.  Now also available are shorter jerseys for a fabulous ski lodge by the fire lunch.

-Some road trips require the good old bootcut jeans, which paired with a sweater and boots make for a cosy wintertime look. Not to mention those farm visits or country dancing that may also occur.

Regardless of what you pack we know that with the confidence of choosing your favourite jeans you will be ready for the best Jean Fit Journey ever!

Go out and discover the world - so that they may discover you!
